Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm full of dinner, sleepy, and ready for the weekend. Ben and I are planning to take a quick trip down to Portland to look at apartments on Saturday and I've been busy looking for a decent place that isn't "charming" (too small), "quaint" (bad plumbing), and "vintage" (creepy old with thin walls). It's turning out to be horribly hard but we're hopeful that something will turn up this week and we can move quickly to start renting. What a giant chore. People that move all the time, to different cities, baffle me! How do you manage it?
I bought the dress above my freshman year of college (six years ago!) and wore it out to see a ballet in the winter with tights and a warm coat. I think that's the last time I wore it. The length is one of the prohibitive factors, but it's also a very loose flowy shape that usually doesn't work on me. Pairing it with some gold accessories, a jacket, and my beloved mini cross-body seemed to do the trick. shopping your own closet can sometimes bring out the most exciting combinations!
