Bird's Nest

I haven't climbed a tree since I was probably 12 years old. It's harder than I remember! Actually, the climb up wasn't too bad, it was the jumping down that made me most nervous. I'm glad I didn't rip a hole in my new stripey sweater, or ya know...break my arm. This sweater is super light which is great for these early summer days where the wind is still pretty chilly. My mom gave me the beautiful moonstone pendant. When I added it to the blue and white stripes, plus the boat shoes this morning, I briefly imagined myself as an maritime adventurer, dreaming of land by the light of the moon. I say briefly, because I am kind of a weenie and would really just rather stay on solid ground. And that includes very gingerly hopping down from that tree. ~CP
