Camellias

I was on Pinterest this morning lamenting that my closet was looking drab, when I stumbled across this fabulous pin from one of my favorite blogs, Kendi Everyday. The caption on the pin from a pinner before me was "Love when I have everything I need to copy an outfit this cute..." My thoughts exactly! So was born my new favorite look and my first copycat look ever. I didn't change anything about the original look because Kendi has impeccable taste. I'm looking forward to doing this more often.

When we headed out to take photos (after imbibing some great green beers at a nearby bar for St. Patrick's Day) we stumbled across the beautiful camellia bush above and the ground was littered with red petals. The perfect spot to take some photos in a Spring-ready outfit in late March.

    Before I talk about your outfit, let me just swoon over your location for a second...It is gorgeous! Those flowers all over the ground look tailor made for a photo shoot. Also, I love the black on black stripes with the brown boots. Simple, but chic.
