The amount of credit I can take from the gorgeous beauty-brunch above is at a zero. But I couldn't help but to photograph the wonderfulness and share it with everyone. Rachel and Jane hosted this darling event this morning and it included insanely good food from Little T Baker, pastries from Pearl Bakery, borrowed vintage event supplies from Something Borrowed, an awesome egg and croissant casserole from Meredith (recipe to come on the blog soon), and oodles of nail polish/beauty supplies for manicures! Also in attendance at the brunch was Winston, the amazingly squishy cat photographed above, Bee, Chloe, Erin, and many more gorgeous ladies that blog (and don't blog, but generally love mimosas).
I'm usually not one to make plans for weekend mornings unless its lazy brunch or shopping time with Ben. We reserve the weekends after his exams for quality time. But this brunch was something I couldn't pass up and was an awesome way to spend a few hours this morning surrounded by pink tulips and beauty. It didn't hurt that the weather was beautiful today and the tulips and daffodils were blooming in abundance all over the southwest of Portland where the brunch was held. It made me so happy to be a part of the Portland blogging community, happy to be out and about in the spring, and ready for a whole season of fantastic events with streaming sunshine.
Happy weekend!
Wow everything looks so yummy!

ReplyDeleteLooks like a pretty perfect brunch! It's so good to be able to celebrate spring with such an array of fresh produce - like the juices and berries you have there. I wish the Belfast blogging community was as lively!
