Elephants are my favorite animal. I actually have a home filled with elephants. A ceramic elephant teapot graces my kitchen. An elephant figurine holds down the bar cart. Twin wood elephants from Africa have my coffee table covered, and another wood elephant from Thailand lives in the bedroom. An elephant pillow lives on my couch. Finally, I have a mother and baby stone elephant statue on my bookcase from Zimbabwe. And I'm always on the hunt for more.
I think that elephants are the most awesome animal to make into art. Their long trunks, their tusks, their wide ears and massive bodies lend themselves to being ornately decorated and represented. One area of my elephant-embellished life that has been particularly lacking has been the closet. No jewelry, no printed anything featuring an elephant.
Not anymore. This crop-top tank covered in elephants was my latest purchase from Aeropostale. I'm really never taking it off. It's just me and my elephant friends hanging out on this weird-weather Saturday getting caught up on my shows!
