We shot inside today because of the very blustery, very rainy morning. It made me think, exclusively, of Winnie the Pooh.
"So the Hundred Acre Wood got floodier and floodier. But the water couldn't come up to Christopher Robin's house, so that's where everyone was gathered. It was a time of great excitement, but in the midst of all the excitement, Eeyore stubbornly stuck to his task of house hunting for Owl."

ReplyDeleteYou have such beautiful skin! I'm super jealous of all of your lovely freckles. I totally think of Pooh every time it is windy outside! I used to be obsessed. I even have a huge stuffed Pooh bear at home! Great outfit too :)

ReplyDeletefollowing you via gfc.
ReplyDeleteThis happens to me all the time this spring, too. It's hard to get a photographer, even a loving one, to go in the rain and shoot photos.
ReplyDeleteisn't it the worst?! CP and I are our own photographers, as in, we trade off - and so we try not to sacrifice one person's outfit for one person's photos and rain can be quite an obnoxious thing when you're trying to preserve your hair and clothes for work!
DeleteI love the bold color with such a classic skirt! Such a great combination. Now the sun just needs to make an appearance so all the Washingtonians can stop dodging rain drops!
