Park Bench

I'd like to say I was this dressed up all day, but in truth this only lasted about an hour at the most. Not feeling well again, I took the day off of work to alternate between drinking lots of water and sleeping for extended periods of time. At around 4:30 or so in the afternoon I rallied just enough to take a shower and put on the outfit I would have worn into work. This is another shot at the layering technique I used once before (here). I feel like I have nearly doubled my wardrobe with this handy little trick.

White Knit Shrug: Target (similar)
Striped Tank: Old Navy
Teal Dress: TJ Maxx
Belt: Nordstrom
Wedges: Target
Cuff Bracelet: My grandmother's

  1. You did well even to dress up! It's the last thing I feel like doing when I feel rubbish! I like the stripes - stripes are underrated! xx

  5. I love your layer techniques. You had me so convinced that was a skirt before I read the fine print. Really adorable outfit! I'm glad you got to wear it out for a little while, but so sorry to hear about not feeling well. Dressing up a bit always helps shake the icky feelings a little.

    1. Callie, it does indeed. I perked up just in time for the pics, but it was back to bed shortly after I must admit.
