These photos are all taken on my grandmother's property at her seaside house. She lives half the year up here on Bainbridge Island and the other half in Pasadena, California - and this house is by far my favorite. It overlooks the bay where the ferries dock, and from the beach you can see the Seattle skyline. The rocky shore is dotted with crabs, herons, osprey, and bald eagle, and she has a lovely wrap around porch and every bedroom has a view. My Mom and I went shopping around the little historic downtown and stumbled across a great sale at Lilies Boutique, where I picked up this gorgeous pleated skirt and sheer polka dot top - perfect for the weather, which is gorgeous and warm as you can tell! A pair of simple ballet flats completed the flowy look and I felt like a ballerina!
It doesn't hurt that it's my birthday as well! Happy 23rd to me!
