CP and I started this blog because we were inspired by a classy blogger who shall remain unnamed (it's embarrassing, okay?). In between wishing that we could magically be transformed into her, lusting after her wardrobe, and generally sobbing at our incomparable bank accounts, we realized that we could be her... if we put a little bit more effort into our style. And after that decision it was easy to move to the next logical step: blogging about our personal style journeys. So here we are today, investing in the latest styles, and wearing them like champs! You can bet I'd never have worn a top over a dress three months ago (if the mannequin wasn't doing it, neither was I), never would have picked up a neon accessory to spice up an outfit (neon, really?), never would have worn a skinny waist belt where there weren't belt loops to suggest it was necessary (ack! not adventurous enough). Oh and, everyone cringe, I wasn't really wearing heels... at all.
I honestly feel like we've both made a lot of progress. We're on trend (most of the time) and absolutely love this blogging adventure. And now I can confidently say that we don't feel the need to compare ourselves to that inspirational blogger that we started our blog in homage to anymore. Sayonara beautiful lady that inspired us and thanks for the boost into the blogosphere!
