This weekend, Ben and I attended a beer festival downtown with some friends and there were tons of little giveaway items. After about six 5.5 oz tasters, we decided to put some of those freebies to good use... notice the (temporary) neck tattoo? It's a local brewery's logo and apparently it won't come off of my neck. Here's hoping I can scrub it off before work.
I spent Sunday doing a bunch of chores and doing about five loads of laundry. I also bought a bunch of gorgeous roses (after Valentine's Day roses are all the sweeter due to their low price tag) and a new Phalenopsis orchid (my house is filled with them). It felt so nice to have all the dishes done, the house clean, the slow-cooker full of a delicious French stew, and my clothes clean and hung up. Hope you all had an equally productive weekend!
