I swear that every single blogger is wearing pink today - Kendi Everyday, J's Everyday Fashion, The Other Side of Gray, Kacie's Closet, Atlantic-Pacific, Coffee Beans and Bobby Pins, Daily Disguise, Because Shanna Said So... Does that star-studded list prove to you that pink is it for the emerging spring? I think that it's a no-brainer: if we're going to be in black and white graphic stripes, what is the automatic pairing? Bright pink. I'm thrilled to welcome pink into my life in a bigger way - it's such a fun color to wear and makes me feel instantly brighter, happier, and more feminine.
I actually wore this after work yesterday to drinks and a science talk at a bar downtown called the Swiss. I charged Ben with making some new friends for us, as we seem to be only losing friends due to moving, new jobs and graduate school, rather than gaining any. I have to give him credit... he made some! The talk we attended was sponsored by the Pacific Science Center and covered the effects of climate change on Washington's agricultural crops - namely hops and wine! Totally relevant to us as we drank a great pint of Maritime Imperial IPA and bemoaned water usage with new friends.
I'm guest posting over at Jane-Squared today, showing how to wear a peplum in two ways, as part of Aili and Ailyn's great series Wear it Both Ways. I am also linking up with: Random Wednesday, WIWW.
