Sunkissed

Top: Target; Skirt: H&M (similar style); Shoes: Franco Sarto via TJ Maxx

It's full-on spring here in the Northwest, though we've still been scraping ice off of the cars in the mornings. We're set to have a 66 degree day without a cloud in the sky this weekend. My fingers are crossed. For the past two days it has been sunny with highs over sixty degrees and I have been taking full advantage of this weather by refusing to wear tights, breaking out the open-toed heels and painting my nails fun easter egg colors. I also bought this button down at Target the other day to spice up my breathable, but still work appropriate, options for the late spring and early summer. I'm already in love with how easy it is to wear.

Also, things that are impossible: editing photos taken in bright morning light! Luckily the light makes editing pretty unnecessary (just look at how great my legs look in those photos... not my natural skin tone, let me tell you!). I'm ready for more mornings with this golden light streaming into the apartment.

  2. The print on your skirt is so pretty! It snowed a little here last night so it seems spring is still a long way off.

  27. Your apartment has such a view! I want it! (I've been missing windows TO something and hardwood floors a lot lately, so your apartment always makes me envious!) I love the pretty skirt - and I wish the weather were nice here. I keep taking photos without tights but it's stillin the low 40s and snowed Monday! Haha.

  32. Oh, how I wish I could say the same. I'm in the South, and spring has remained elusive, unfortunately. I love the pattern on your skirt! It looks like an expensive impressionist painting.

  34. That skirt is gorgeous - I wouldn't have guessed it was from Target. And I totally hear you on the sunlight! Nothing like a little glare/overexposure to help a girl's complexion!
