The Hundred Acre Wood

Blazer, dress: Forever 21; Shoes: TJ Maxx

I seem to recall Piglet and Pooh having quite a few blustery days in the Hundred Acre Wood, and that's just what we had here today. Ben and I were being buffeted around like Milne's two fuzzy friends hunting for heffalumps and honey. The morning was windy, warm, and speckled with big rain drops and the afternoon turned into vivid sunlight and whipping winds for a little while. We snuck outside to take some photos after work and in between gusts, we managed to get a few photos that weren't putting my undergarments on display. Sometimes I feel like the weather entirely defines my blog - bad weather? Terrible photos inside! Great weather? Pretty, sunlit photos outside!

I love this new dress and blazer from Forever 21 and had fun pairing them together. I'm so excited to be getting bolder and more confident about print mixing. It certainly opens up options I didn't know were possible in my closet and I'm always looking for ways to re-wear clothing. Hope you're all having a productive week and looking forward to the weekend. :)

  9. I completely agree about the weather! I am so tired of taking indoor pictures, but it has been so cold/windy/rainy here that it is difficult to get outside. Yesterday, I had my camera and tripod set up right by the house, so it was under the little overhang, and I was trying to look somewhat normal with my umbrella in the freezing rain. Not sure those pictures will make it to the blog!
