As you can see, we got to take advantage of some perfect summer sun this weekend and ended up playing wiffleball, bean bag toss games, having a park picnic, watching a movie, going out to eat, reading in the park, drinking italian sodas, and celebrating Cinco de Mayo. We also had a few fun photoshoots with friends and Ben and I got to take some pictures together. It's rare that we get photos together as one of us is always behind the lens and you've seen my shoddy tripod work. Thank goodness for friends that are willing to shoot some silly couple pictures. To catch some more of the fun we had, I made a quick video of our weekend and practiced my free-lensing while I was at it. See it below:
I am recovering from the weekend with a sunburn on my back in a terrible pattern and on the insides of my knees (how does that happen?). Suffice it to say, showering hurts, laying down hurts, hugs hurt... aka all of the best things hurt. I'm hopeful that I'll speedily recover into a tanner state and I'll be one layer closer to looking presentable for our Hawaii trip in July. I am seriously the whitest person ever and the Hawaiians just laugh at me when I go to the beach. Ben and I actually might be reflective.
