Whew, I had a long day today. I went into work at seven this morning to accomodate for a job interview (hooray!) and interviewed from 12-2, skipping lunch. When I got off of work at 5, the combination of being on point for an interview for two hours, the sweltering heat in our offices, and my insane regular workload reduced me primitive state and all I wanted to do was cry or sleep. 

And then I checked the mail! Do you guys go crazy over mail like I do? I'm obsessed with checking my mailbox and seeing if there are any unexpected goodies inside. Usually I'm just dreaming that Ben has sent me a surprise gift - it's never happened but I am not giving up on my dreams. Today was an unprecedentedly great day at the mailbox - a package of gorgeous summer goodies from Lulu*s and a beautiful gold and crystal link bracelet from a Stella and Dot giveaway win. My day took a quick upswing and, renewed, I plopped down on the couch in my comfy new jeans and turned on Jeopardy to enjoy my evening in elderly style.

Now that I've hit the The Bachelorette portion of ABC's nighttime programming, I need to sign off and get ready to ridicule the v-neck wearing bros on Twitter for an hour. Wish me luck! Linking up with Style Sessions.
