Never Again

As my plane returning from Denver sat on the tarmac last night, delayed for an hour, with mechanical problems I thought "never again." It was the last in a long line of travel hurdles that day and at midnight I really just couldn't take it anymore. But I'm back in Portland, slept in my own bed (if only for a few hours), and am ready for the weekend to start. One more work day to complete and then freedom!

I came home to a bouquet of a roses and a clean house, all courtesy of Ben, who wins the award for most thoughtful and who I would have probably bear-hugged if I wasn't already in a zombie state. Pictures to come later this evening of some outfit I hope to sleepily pull together, but until then, if you're traveling this weekend, I hope you don't have nearly the struggle I did and beware the airport security lines. Even last night, they were insane.

Happy Friday, finally.
