I've been a pretty crummy blogger lately but that's due to a few big things happening in my life - the absolute insanity of planning a wedding on a limited budget and the insanity of planning a wedding on a limited budget and then also trying to fashion blog when all disposable income is going right into your savings account.
It has been a few weeks of a lot of googling and finagling and plan changing and waffling and hemming hawing crying laughing around here and I can't even seem to put on my old boring clothes and dress up anymore. At least the house is moderately clean...
Anyway, without much to share with you in the way of inspiring and photogenic style, I'm sharing some items I'm coveting (that I can't purchase)!
Clockwise: Mercer D'Orsays; Fitted boyfriend stripe; Chambray shirtdress; Laser cut zodiak tank; Planklet gem necklace; Always skinny jeans
I love these jeans and pastel casual items! I'm always in the mood for weekend attire and vacation wear when gloomy February gets in full swing here. My favorite details from the assortment above is the reemergence of last spring's darling looks. Welcome back laser-cut details, chambray and the ever-pretty D'Orsay style flat. I'm in the market for some new years and tanks that can be layered as soon as I either save enough or get a monetary clothing donation gift that allows me to head out there and shop!
Clockwise: Atropos gladiator heels; Bold stripe blouse; Cropped stripe pants; Flutter skirt; Printed pointy flats; Faux leather trip blouse
The spring also brings with it a rethinking of the work wardrobe. As the weather gets hotter the style relaxes a bit in the northwest and I can get away with bold prints and flirty skirts instead of uncomfortable pencil skirts. I cannot wait for pretty enough weather to take some striped or printed flats out for a walk along the waterfront during my lunch break!
I know how it feel to be on a tight budget. Most of the outfits I blog are from things I already own, and I will add a splash of something new, but inexpensive. This has worked for me, hope that helps. I want those blue flats in the first picture :))

Such great finds. Love the blue d'orsay flats especially. Good luck with the wedding planning - it is stressful but so worth it in the end! I got married last year, and Lindsey just got engaged and will be planning soon too!

I totally understand how you feel about the wedding planning process. It's so hard to get anything else done! Don't be too hard on yourself, this time is something you should cherish - try not to be stressed :)
