My parents arrive in Portland in two days! I am so excited to be taking off of work and sharing the city with them. They haven't been to Portland since I was much younger and we all visited as a family, rode the train down from Seattle, and explored the zoo. It's time for a redux complete with cocktails, dinners out, and more outdoorsy adventures in Hood River and along the Columbia. I know they are dreading the six hour flight here (that just so happens to be a terrible red-eye), but I cannot wait to get my house all cleaned up and ready to welcome them! Portland is also behaving perfectly and the weather is supposed to be gorgeous the entire time they're here. What a miracle.

Meanwhile, I've been flitting about Portland in my summer attire. Eyelet + floaty high-low tops + heels = perfect summery ensemble for work, play, and dinner by the riverside. I got this top for an insane $10 at ModDeals. What, you say! I know. I know. $10. That's seriously a steal. I kind of feel like a fairy princess in it and I don't really plan on taking it off unless we get a freak cold front and it starts to snow on me in June.
