I'm not sure if there's anything like a long weekend for the mind and body. I actually made progress on my to-do list today, after three days of good food, good wine, and relaxation with Ben and his family, I felt ready to take some things of my daunting to-do list. I contacted a tailor to alter my wedding dress, wrote out all the RSVP envelopes and about two-thirds of the envelopes to guests. All that's left now is to get my dates, times, menu settled so that I can write the rest of the invitations. To be completely fair, I did accomplish most of this today while wearing my giant white robe and lurking around eating leftovers and delicious post-holiday treats.
Other than wedding to-do list items, I wrapped gifts this weekend to make my tree look festive and complete, hung my stockings (with care) and got my last gift items ordered for family members. I skipped the entire Black Friday ordeal and am trying VERY hard to resist the J.Crew Factory Cyber Monday sale (this sweater, I want!). I feel like I'm ready to tackle December (minus a good round or two of vacuuming that's left to complete before our holiday party this weekend)!
Hope you all feel just as relaxed and accomplished your big holiday tasks this weekend!
