Stems

I recently purchased this skirt from Target and I love it. It is light and flowy in fabric and bold and fun in color. You can't see it here, but it also features deep, roomy pockets, perfect for leisurly walks when you might come across an especially smooth pebble that proves irresistible. I chose a natural shade of green for my top, because green goes with everything according to my theory. Flowers come in nearly every color imaginable and what shade is reliably at the base, grounding the bloom, while letting it enjoy all the attention? A nice consistent, earthy, green.  ~CP

  3. Just love this skirt. And I love your reasoning that green goes with everything. Nature is the best source of color inspiration. Have a great weekend!

  9. That skirt is delightful! Love the bold mustard stripe...and I like the shape too, not too "poufy" but nice volume :)

    1. I love this mustard color I'm seeing so many places lately! I think it works really well in pretty much all seasons. And yes, the shape is good. I'm always drawn to the "poufy" skirts, but they aren't flattering on my shape.

      Have a great holiday weekend!

  10. I love a roomy pocket! And your cardigan - it looks cozy in a springtime kinda way (as opposed to a wintry kinda way)!
