Butterfly in the Sky

Blouse, Belt, and Skirt: H&M; Heels: Payless; Locket: My great grandmother's

Monday morning! Hello!

This week I'm going to be a busy little bee. My student staff of 14 are arriving today and we begin training, moving from there directly into Orientation and then a new academic year. Where did this summer go? This incoming class is an entire decade younger than I am. However, I was also mistaken for a student again this morning in the cafe even though I've worked on this campus for over 5 years, so that's flattering...sort of.

Anyhow, I have some last minute preparations to make for this new crew, so I will cut this short. I hope all of you ladies (and gents!) have an energized and productive start to your week!

  1. I know what you mean by it being only sort of flattering; I'm frequently thought to be younger than I am. I love your blouse! Such a beautiful print :)

  4. Sounds like you're in for a busy week, but you'll look darling doing it. That shirt is adorable and I love the fun, relaxed vibe that it adds to the classic pencil skirt. I always get made out to be older than I am - sort of interesting.

    1. It is! I know the top is floral print, but something about the symmetry, bright colors and fluttery sleeves made me think of a butterfly. And then I got the theme song stuck in my head and decided to inflict that upon all of you! ;)
