The Christmas Exchange: Part II

I know I'm not in any of these photos, but I thought Ben was dressed so well for our Christmas exchange that it was worth sharing his Christmas party style on the blog, too! Ben is obsessed with sweaters and I found this Christmas-y sweater at H&M and knew it combined all of the crucial elements of a Ben favorite: it was blue and it was a sweater.

The rest of the pictures are a good representation of the carnage that became my perfectly cleaned living room after 30 gifts were opened (there are six of us and we each get each other a gift). The cat thought it was heaven - apparently being able to lay on different pieces of crinkly paper is cat-heaven. All in all we drank a whole bowl of champagne punch, polished off three bottles of wine, a few beers, and more than a few fingers of whisky in eggnog. And got a ton of fantastic gifts! Above you can see my two pretty new nail polishes, a chalkboard (love!), and some decorated bobby pins which I'm wearing today.
