Gloomy Sea

Sweater: H&M (similar); Pants, blouse: Gap (blouse in stores); Shoes: Target

These are some more photos from our recent trip away to Whidbey Island, taken on the porch of our hotel room. It was chilly on the second day we were there and instead of wearing a cute new striped dress, it was a rainy layering outfit day. I just bought this new polka dot top at Gap this weekend and am in love with its versatility. I plan on wearing it at work with slacks, pencil skirts, and on weekends layered under sweaters and with simple skirts. I've been looking for a good quality, comfy fit button down for a long time, and definitely think this is the one.

I felt like our vacation deserved a "sponsored by Gap" tagline as I wore pretty much exclusively Gap and Ben had some Gap button downs on as well. You have to see their new collection because it's totally perfect and totally nautical - read anchors, black and white, navy, red, and stripes everywhere.
