The Inn at Langley

Blouse: Francesca's Collections; Pants: Gap (in stores)

Ben and I celebrated our four year anniversary a few days early by going up to Whidbey Island (north of Seattle, Washington) and staying at a beautiful inn there in Langley. Perched on the water, simple and serene, with private decks, jacuzzi tubs, and fireplaces - the inn was perfect for us. Ben loves being outdoors and I love.. well, being indoors shopping, and Langley happily combined both elements for us. We went thrift shopping, browsed boutiques, ate delicious pizza, watched movies, enjoyed a gorgeous sunset, and bought our first piece of art - a naturalist's original print from the 1800s. It's a beautiful chrome lithograph of gull eggs.

I chose to go very nautical for our seaside vacation with these amazing anchor print pants from the gap (they're in store but I can't find them online) and a white blouse. I also wore heels when we went out but we missed getting any full-body photos of my outfit, so you'll have to guess. I am obsessed with the pants and plan on wearing them every single day I am not at work and need to feel especially nautical.

  3. That is such a lovely and serene looking place! Congrats on your anniversary. Looks like a romantic getaway! I really love how you paired the polka dot chambray shirt with the short white sweater. Such a great combo, you did a fabulous styling job! And in the second outfit..those pants with the flowy blouse!! Love it! xo
