What A Bunch of Animals

Top: Francesca Collections; Skirt: Target; Shoes: JC Penney

This skirt is one of my "it never gets wrinkled," go-to closet options. It, a) never gets wrinkled, but also b) doesn't show cat hair, weird make-up smudges, or bits of melted chocolate (not that that's an issue for me or anything) and can always be trusted to spice up an outfit. I already waxed poetic about my other patterned skirt, so I won't go into it, but let me just say that an investment in a wrinkle-resistant pencil skirt is a good one.

Today was a headache inducing day at work with lots of little projects and constant interruptions, and I am glad to be firmly in my bed and only seven hours from my first wake-up alarm. It's going to be a long week for sure and I'm looking forward to the following to perk it up: happy hour tomorrow night with friends at, hopefully, a new location; planning Ben and I's anniversary trip up to Whidbey Island in the coming weeks; and a vacation day off of work!
