Grilled Cheese and Daffodils

Top: H&M; Skirt: Express; Shoes: JC Penney

I came home from work yesterday to find my new camera remote in the mail. I've basically been doing continuous 10 second self-time every time I shoot at home. It's not efficient but does provide a running-back-and-forth-from-the-T4i workout. I purchased it for about $8 on Amazon and other than the fact that you need to be in direct-line of the infrared receiver, it's awesome! These photos were a struggle for reasons other than the remote - my living room isn't big enough to get a great full-body shot without propping the camera on a makeshift pile of wobbly pillows. My tripod is lost somewhere in a box of things and so excuse the no-feet photos.

After taking photos, I had a classic kid dinner made by Ben - onion soup and grilled cheeses. With a wintry snap in the air, it's nice to eat some steaming comfort food among the daffodils trying to weather the chill. How're you getting through these freezing first days of Spring?

As far as how I'm dealing with winter: I'm not, sadly. lol I'm letting it get the best of me very badly, right now!

  3. I really wish I had a remote, because the 10 second timer is so inefficient, but my camera isn't compatible with a remote, so I am stuck! I love the lacy skirt!
