The Last Summer

Top: TJ Maxx (similar); Skirt: Rental c/o Le Tote (similar savesimilar splurge); Sandals: Forever 21 (similar save); Bracelet: Macy's

This is what the last Friday night in August looked like in Portland - a warm, seventy degree setting sun as a backdrop to a surprise dinner out to a nice Indian food restaurant with Ben. We drove through a little neighborhood in Northwest Portland to a great spot with delicious curry and naan and are now home watching classic movies (Ben decided that he hasn't seen enough of the top 100 movies of all-time list favorites). I am so happy to be at home, curled up on the couch editing photos happily and feeling the evening breeze.

This maxi skirt, a rental care of Le Tote (which I promise to introduce soon), was the perfect amount of sheer and flowy for a summer date night and it made me feel at once all-dressed-up, but perfectly casual. Dark florals might be woo-ing me yet.

Happy Labor Day weekend!
