Sweater: Forever 21; Top: rental c/o Le Tote; Jeans: Paige Denim; Boots: c/o Aeropostale
Today, I had the first chance to truly layer and although the scarf came off a little bit later, I was cozy in a sweater (and still am) wandering around the Pearl with our friends from out of town. Since our weather was on and off thunder and lightning and some misty rain, I slipped on my Aeropostale boots that make me feel instantly boho/slouchy-chic.
This whole outfit is kind of casual and slouchy in a way that's not really very me. I am much more of a buttoned up and over-dressed kind of person, with the rare very-casual day. I kind of love that chameleon-effect that fashion can have on anyone. This outfit changed my posture, gait, the way I carried myself all day. I felt more laid back and scuffy - adopting a persona attached to my boots and long top. It's fun to play a part for a day and get out of your own skin.
