Kick Ball Change

I feel like Debbie Reynolds in Singin' in the Rain in this outfit. Hence, my sweet dance moves. This 'skirt' is actually my new blue dress (seen here) layered with my favorite little bunny-print blouse. When I first put the blouse over the dress it flared out too much at the waist. It wasn't flattering, but I was determined to fix it. I grabbed a hair tie, gathered the back of the shirt like I would my hair into a ponytail, tied it back, and then rolled the tail up under the rest of the top. I added a belt and voila! Successful layering! The shiny patent leather in my belt was mirrored in the black and white clutch I carried, once my grandmother's 'fancy night out bag'. I felt comfortable and creative all day in this outfit! And a little bit like dancing.

Bunny-print blouse: H&M
Blue Dress: Forever21
Belt: H&M
Denim Jacket: Old Navy
Black Flats: Target
Black & White Clutch: from grandma
