In the Wind, By the Water

I was begging for Fall all through the hot days of summer and now that the trees are changing and the weather is getting chilly, I'm delighted. However, yesterday was downright freezing. I was shivering and couldn't feel my fingers after this photo shoot in the whipping wind out on the waterfront. The chilly breeze hasn't let up, as I can hear the wind whistling eerie songs through my apartment, tormented whistles that make me edgy. 

I consider this a perfect outfit for Fall as it is an easy-layering option for work - I can add a sweater over the button down, dress up the slacks with heels, flats and tights, or with ankle boots, and I can pair any big coat over the whole lot to keep warm. The scarf that I'm wearing is also a new go-to as it's simple, easy, and cuddly. For $10 at H&M, I suggest you get one right away!
