These photos were taken about two hours before Ben inadvertently poisoned us with toxic waterproofing fumes in our tiny apartment and we headed (back through this same park) to the ER across the street. Basically, yesterday was not the Sunday I'd anticipated and not a Sunday I'd be interested in repeating for at least a few weeks. Word of advice? If it says "earth friendly" on the aerosol can, it does not mean "people-friendly" and "spray in unventilated spaces." We went into some (scary but not life-threatening) respiratory distress and then spent four hours in the ER as Ben was put on a nebulizer containing essentially, asthma meds, while I read a book, froze to death, and listened to the other patients in the nearby rooms with their various ailments. When googling the waterproofing sprays we found a million results about people getting sick. Great! Thanks, REI.
Since then, Ben and I have been taking it easy, trying to move as little as possible to avoid coughing and waiting for our headaches to finally dissipate. I was so out of it yesterday evening that I had a hard time changing our laundry out and think I shrunk one of my favorite button downs! Darn! Hope you all had a much more successful weekend than I did!
