We snapped these extremely snowy photos during the middle of the pretty falling flakes on Friday afternoon. It has since gotten a lot uglier, a bit slushier, and we're looking forward to an onslaught of heavy rain in the coming week. I'm just ready to leave the house without snow boots on. Bring on the rain, the shine, the chill, just no more snow-bound four-day periods capped with an ice storm.
I am looking forward to getting back into work tomorrow and being productive. Laying around the house sapped all my energy and I haven't done more than a surface cleaning and a ton of laundry. Something about being lazy encourages more laziness and it's hard to break the spell.
What did you all do this weekend? Hope it wasn't as snowy and you actually got to DO something interesting.
P.S. The $100 Anthropologie giveaway winner was announced here.
Mine was, of course, the same as yours - completely stuck in the house staring at the beautiful puffy flakes but not believing just how much it was all adding up.

I don't know how you always look so pretty in your snow photos! Most of the time my face is red and looks like I am about to get hypothermia. Go you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a winter wonderland - these pictures are absolutely gorgeous! And I hear you about laziness breeding laziness - I find I'm the most energized to get stuff done when I've already been really productive. I have to remind myself all the time, that we are our habits. To a productive Monday!

These pictures are so beautiful! There's something so romantic, almost fairy tale like about them. I absolutely love that skirt you're wearing. I have a thing for blush colored pieces in flowy fabrics. If I had to live in one style of clothing for the rest of my life this would be it.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are beyond gorgeous! I tried taking photos in the snow--but mine did NOT turn out like this :):) You look stunning and I love that skirt!
