I have been reaching for all white outfits lately. It's hot, my mood is erratic with stress, heat, and anxiety, and nothing feels better than a calming, reflective absence of color. To put on a silk top that gently blows in the breeze and a midi skirt that twists and twirls is all I can ask for. Do you have go-to colors when you feel emotional or overwrought? I think that black is definitely my insecure-body-issues go-to and jewel tones and cashmere textures make me feel happy and warm in the winter-time.
It was 95 degrees today and my body feels coated in levels of sweat. That's probably a gross descriptor, but in this humidity and heat, it's impossible not to sweat when touching anything at all (including phone to cheek, elbow to knee, foot to foot). Ben and I are sitting miles apart on the couch just trying to cool off. So much for love and cuddling in the summertime.
Last night we got our engagement photos back, which made me feel so much less anxious, and ready to greet the week. I am absolutely in love with them and cannot wait to share them on the blog. Just waiting to get my disc back to make our wedding website official and post our photos. :) Hooray for good news to kick off the week on a high note!
