Yesterday my boyfriend and I took an evening trip to the Puyallup fair (basically our state fair) in search of fair food that I'd never tried: elephant ears and funnel cakes. If it weren't for the sheer size of the elephant ear (and the fact that I ate a fair scone, that massive cotton candy cone, and some nitro ice cream) I probably would have been able to eat a funnel cake, but it's going to remain on the never-tried list of foods until next year. We were fortunate enough to arrive at the fair in the setting sunlight, during the few minutes of the golden hour, which made for some pretty photos.
I wore my new comfy corduroys from H&M (never thought I'd wear corduroy again after my elementary school years in the '90s) and a circus-y print top. I carried the sweater with me in case the night got chilly, but it has been unseasonably warm and I was only able to wear it briefly. Come on, fall, arrive already! I've got so many outfits planned for you!
(Also, CP is currently attending her library graduate school orientation program for the rest of this week, so you'll need to bear with me while I post in her absence. Don't worry, she'll be back with all her chic, librarian charm next week!)
