In Review

I know I promised a shoot with CP this week... but all of you adoring fans will have to wait and bear with another post penned by me. Because outfit photos were a massive fail this morning, here's an instagram week-in-review and a list of things you've got to see/do/drink:
  • If you need a film, watch Beasts of the Southern Wild. It's on Redbox and Netflix DVD and may be the best movie I've ever seen. That first instagram photo is Ben, the cat, and I watching it last night.
  • On that note, I'm going through the Oscar best-picture contenders and so far have watched: Argo, the film mentioned above, Silver Linings Playbook, and Les Miserables. Highly recommend the former three, though the latter is worth a good sing-a-long night. I've started Zero Dark Thirty and have yet to make it to Lincoln, Amour, Django Unchained, and Life of Pi.
  • CP and I made a list of 25 small resolutions for the year at a coffee shop last Sunday based on this pretty template. It was nice to brainstorm tiny projects we want to focus on for the year like: "Fall asleep at a reasonable time"; "Make my bed every day"; "Get my hair cut more often."
  • I'm on a mission to drink more bubbly, because why not make every day a celebration? This inexpensive bottle of Gruet Blanc de Noirs is a perfectly pretty, amazing value choice!
  • I've been listening to The Civil Wars Pandora radio station after hearing this song and falling in love. I might be behind the times, but it's still beautiful!
  • I got my highly anticipated three-product Jose Eber giveaway win from O My Heart Kate in the mail yesterday and tested out my new infrared blow-dryer. I'm a convert! It dried my hair in literally half the time it normally takes me, made my hair shiny and frizz-less. Here's to happy hair!
  • I'm also loving my new Bamboo solo stylus from Wacom for my iPad and have been drawing using the Paper app and taking notes through Notability. A creative year is ahead.
