Frosted

Sweater: Gap; Dress (worn as a skirt): Ann Taylor; Boots: Aeropostale; Necklace: Gorjana and Griffin; Tote: GiGi New York

We had a very full, and very cold, weekend in Portland with our good friend in town. We went to three breweries, tasted some amazing sour ales, tried out a waffle window that was recommended by my former colleagues, went for a terribly cold walk, and finally ended it with an Indian food buffet that was amazing. Now we're relaxing in the (finally done!) apartment, watching the most adorable About Time with our sleepy cat and I am nervously anticipating my first day at my new job tomorrow!

There's something so scary about starting a new job, and yet so exhilarating. There is the very slow process of memorizing names and the very quick process of embarrassing yourself with small, constant questions that later seem stupid. And then there is the exciting possibility of so much to come, of so much to learn, and so much to accomplish! I'm hopeful for this new opportunity and will keep you all updated on how it goes tomorrow!

  1. It's always the night before a new job when your brain goes "You're gonna suck." Thanks brain. It's gonna go fine and you're probably gonna love it there ;)

    Those boots are crazy good.
