Cherry Pie

Top, necklace: rental c/o Le Tote; Skirt: Express (similar); Shoes: BCBG via TJ Maxx (similar 1, similar 2)

I am watching an episode of season 2 of Scandal and a big jaw-dropper just happened! Whew! This show is right up my alley. Well-dressed scandal-solver Kerry Washington? A team of devoted followers colleagues. And a steamy presidential affair? I'm in. Ben's off doing his first night of preceptorship (is that a word?) in an ER out in the suburbs so I am free to watch my sorta trashy TV complete with mood music.

But enough about TV. There are two things in this post that I want to mention and the first can be brief - H&M is now selling a sock bun thingamajig. They sell them in light and dark colors, different shades of brown, and they're almost like scrunchies... I don't even know. But forget cutting up your nice dress socks. Sock buns can happen in a less destructive, more organized way now.

And the second deserves a bit more attention and may be even more fabulous than the first. It's called Le Tote. I know you've heard me talking about them before in some previous posts (here and here), but now I want to encourage you to join after having tried out a happy month with their clothing rental boxes. For $49 a month (it seemed a bit steep to me at first), you get unlimited, no-deadline rentals on a set of clothing pieces and accessories sent to you as many times as you can receive, try on, and return a month. It's also a no-contract, cancel anytime service. I'll be honest, I was skeptical. I am not a monthly box kind of girl. I went online, signed up, filled out an amazingly accurate style profile, and started favoriting the closets full of accessories and dresses, skirts and cardigans on the site. I entirely believed I wouldn't feel compelled to keep any of the items in the box for purchase.

And then I got that floral dress I wore in the first post I shared about Le Tote. And that floral maxi skirt that made my Friday night out flowy and lovely. And this amazing blouse that is perfect with everything. I'm not as much of an accessory girl, but they were certainly pretty too! Needless to say, I am in love with Le Tote. An unlimited wardrobe rental service every month? The chance to try awesome brands and pretty new items it's hard to find elsewhere? The opportunity to buy any item in the box for a great price. It's totally worth the monthly cost and I cannot wait to receive my next box!

If you're interested, join here!

I received one month service free of charge, care of Le Tote. All of these fabulous opinions, however, are my own.
