Portland Fashion Week: Bridal

I attended Portland Fashion Week earlier this month (September 30-Oct 2) as part of the Style Collective, a group of local bloggers covering the event. I haven't posted photos due to the massive undertaking it was to edit them, but I'm finally ready to share my favorite night of PFW - Bridal! This night was actually broken up into two parts, bridal and couture, but I am so obsessed with the bridal designers that I'm saving couture for another night. There were so many gorgeous designs walking the runway at Pioneer Square that I was unable to edit and post all of the photos (lest I lose you all as readers), so here are some favorite designers and favorite looks!

Ready for a photo-overload?

Sun Jin Lee Bridal

Oh the drama. Sun Jin Lee convinced me to have fun with my wedding attire and I am 100% sold I need a blush veil like the last dress shown above.

Sonia Kasparin

These dresses from Sonia Kasparin had so much glitz and glamour and tulle that I couldn't get enough of photographing them. I loved the subtle color, the layers of beading, and gorgeous detail in these dresses.

Allison Johansen

I loved Allison Johansen's pretty and whimsical collection. It was romantic and different - a welcome, refreshing look at bridal.

What did I wear? Here's a look at Day 2's look!

  6. I'm rather surprised by the retro lean for most of them. Nice, though.

  8. Loved the non-white and -ivory dresses. But the marching band hat in the first photo made me laugh out loud! Can you imagine if someone actually wore that at her wedding—or with her lingerie? ;)
